2019-2020 Calendar
In view of the global situation with regard to Covid-19, it was decided to cancel all competitions
scheduled for April, May and June 2020, also in accordance with the recommendations of the FIE
Medical Commission.
Qualifications for the Tokyo Olympic Games
The results and qualifications obtained until March 2020 are retained. The rankings are “frozen” and
will be reactivated once we will be able to hold the last following events, counting for the Olympic
qualification and which had been postponed:
Men’s and Women’s Foil Grand Prix
Women’s Sabre World Cup
Men’s Epée World Cup
Men's Sabre World Cup
Women’s Epée World Cup
The events above, followed by the four zonal qualifying events, will be held when:
- The global health situation will be safe
- Fair and adequate training and preparation of athletes can take place
- No federations will be prevented from participation
- International competitions, including several “preparatory” World Cup/Grand Prix competitions, have
taken place beforehand.
とりあえづ、２０２０年上半期の試合が全部キャンセルになるのはわかった。
下半期の試合についてはまだ決まっていない。。。
